ELAINE J. BARON 1940-2018 AUGUSTA – Elaine J. Baron, 77, formerly of South Hunts Meadow Road, Whitefield passed away at Glen Ridge Rehab & Long-Term Care in Augusta on June 1, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born in Augusta on June 30, 1940, the daughter of Raymond F. Sr. and Marion Chapman Vigue. She graduated from Cony High School and retired from Digital/SCI.

She was a loving Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a dear friend to everyone she knew. She loved life and enjoyed gardening, social events, and cherished every moment spent with family. Elaine was predeceased by the love of her life, Ernest Baron Sr. of 49 years, her brother Raymond Vigue Jr. and sister Marilyn Condon.

She leaves behind her children Kim Neuman and husband Mike of Minnesota, Tina Tarbox and husband David of Winthrop, Ernest Baron Jr. and wife Deb of Pittston, Scott Baron and companion Barb of Woolwich, Craig Baron and wife Danielle of Pittston, and Todd Baron and wife Denice of Belgrade. Grandchildren Shellie Buckmore, Shannon Crocker, Lindsay Webber, Allison Tarbox, Amanda Asfahl, Nick Baron, Marissa Baron, Sophia Baron, Trevor Baron, Paisley Baron, and Logan Baron. Great Grandchildren Emma and Ethan Buckmore, Dustin Harrington, Brody Waltz, Avery and Griffin Asfahl.

Several Nieces, Nephews, and extended family. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Maple Grove Extension Cemetery in Randolph. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the nurturing and compassionate care given by Glen Ridge and Beacon Hospice.
