Elda Smith Riley, 88, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was born on January 29, 1930 to the late Charlie Carroway Smith and Elma Davis Smith in Bladen County, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband Ado Lambert Riley.

She is survived by two sons Charles Lambert Riley and Jerry Keith Riley, both of Fayetteville, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Culbreth Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev.

Heather Locklear and Rev. Tim Reaves officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Culbreth Memorial United Methodist Church 1813 Sloan Avenue, Fayetteville, NC 28312. Online condolences may be made at sullivanshighland.com. Services are entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
