Obituary for Eldre “LD” Richardson Eldre “LD” Richardson, 78, of Cope, husband of Evelyn Richardson, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation this evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home.

Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 11000 Dorchester Rd. , Summerville, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas PI, Memphis, TN 38105.

LD was born on December 4, 1939 in Loris, SC, son of Louise Richardson of Cottageville and the late Elbert Richardson. He was the former co-owner of Norton and Richardson. Survivors including his wife Evelyn of 57 years are: one son: Michael Eldre Richardson (Anna) of Cope; one daughter: Michelle Lynn Richardson of Summerville; one step grandson: Scottie Chesser; two sisters: Olean Rabon of Columbia and Margaret Vaudell Cantwell of Cottageville.
