ETCS (SS) Paul Arnold Viering, USN (Ret), 70, of Ladson, SC, husband of Jennie Blank Viering, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018. The family will receive friends Friday evening, July 20, 2018 at Parks Funeral Home from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls ,OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Paul’s name may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 1027 Physicians Drive Suite 210 Charleston, SC 29414 or Friends of the Hunley, 1250 Supply St, North Charleston, SC 29405. Paul was born on Thursday November 20, 1947, a son of the late Klein Viering and Margaret Hagenmaier Viering. Paul was a member of USSVI and a Hunley Volunteer.

In addition to his wife, Jennie Viering of Ladson, SC, Paul leaves behind his sister, Louise Plymire of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great nephews. Arrangements by Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
