Obituary for Eleanor Jamison (Hutson) Eleanor Hutson Jamison, 84, widow of Richard Farris Jamison, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Covenant Place. Born December 9, 1933, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Bob Ronald Hutson and the late Carrie Hutson Childress. She was a member of Alice Drive Baptist Church.

Survivors two children, Bob Jamison (Sharon) of Sumter, and Angela J. Ritchie (Mark) of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Brian Jamison, Kimberly Tomberlin, and Tyler Ritchie; and three great-grandchildren, Madison Tomberlin, Hunter Tomberlin, and Rylee Tomberlin; a brother, James Hutson (Alice) of Finley, TN; and four sisters, Margaret Lewis, June Jones, and Mary Crouch (Holland) all of Dyersburg, TN, and Ann Johnson of Finley, TN. She was preceded in death by a sister, Flossie Pruitt; and a brother, Bobby Hutson. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in the Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
