Eleanore Mary Schwark July 03, 1931 – January 06, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Eleanore Mary Schwark, age 87, a former resident of Clinton Township, Michigan passed on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Heartland Health Care Center in Sterling Heights, MI. She was born on July 3, 1931 in Hamtramck, MI to the late Michael and Mary Roczniak. On January 15, 1955 in Hamtramck she was united in marriage to Harold J. Schwark.

Together they shared 34 years of marriage before he passed on March 10, 1989. Mrs. Schwark was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading, and local trips to various stores and her church. Church was a focal point in her life.

As a young lady she was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church in Hamtramck where she was baptized and later married. After moving out to the suburbs, she and her family became a member at St. Thecla Catholic Church in Clinton Twp. , where she was active with Daughters of Isabella.

Spending time with her family and sharing in special moments was always a highlight for Eleanore. She was looking forward to the arrival of her first great-grandchildren, two of whom are expected soon. She is survived by her four sons; Gary (Sandy) Schwark, Mark Schwark, Michael Schwark, and David Schwark.

Eleanore is also survived by her sister Michalene and two grandchildren; Kyle (Jackie) Schwark and Katie (Ryan) Boog. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Joan. Visitation will be held in the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main Street, Mount Clemens on Wednesday, January 9, 2018 from 3:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:00p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10:00a.m. (instate 9:30a.m.) at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 South Nunneley, Clinton Twp.

, MI 48035 with Fr. William Sinatra officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
