Groth, age 71, a resident of Clinton Township, Michigan passed on Friday, January 18, 2019 in her home. She was born on August 18, 1947 in Pennsylvania. Catherine retired from the Army National Guard as a Lt.

Col. after more than 20 years and serving during Desert Storm. She had previously served in the United States Air Force from 1965-1966.

Catherine had proudly earned her Masters Degree and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She is survived by her son Lawrence Neumann, Jr. and granddaughter Adrianna Neumann. Burial with military honors will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Township, MI officiating.
