Lippert, a resident of Ray, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the age of 63. He was born March 17, 1956 in Lyons, New York to the late Ernest and Jane Elizabeth Eakins Lippert. On February 17, 1990 in Washington Township, Michigan, he was united in marriage to the former Anne M. Schaffer.

Together they celebrated their 28th Wedding Anniversary. Bruce owned and operated Lippert Landscape Company in Macomb County. An all-purpose landscape service he primarily focused on the intricate work of hardscape.

His own yard was an example of the outstanding work he did. When not hard at work, he enjoyed Northern Michigan, traveling to the Traverse City and Petoskey area. He was passionate about hunting.

An avid hunter of deer and turkey he loved to entertain the Michigan and New York hunting buddies at his hunting cabin that sits on 40 acres near Onaway, Michigan. He was always willing to teach ‘newbie hunters’ the skills he himself knew. A devoted family man, he enjoyed ‘driving Miss Annie’ as she preferred to have Bruce behind the wheel.

He was proud of his daughter Alexandra and attended all her cheerleading events, eventually having what he called ‘bleacher butt’ from sitting in the stands. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandson Remington. He is survived by his loving family, including wife Anne, daughter Alexandra M. Lippert, grandson Remington Joseph LaRue, sisters, Nancy (Evan) Scarbnick, Susan Kirchner, nephews, Brett (Jess Harper) Kirchner, Kevin (Robyn) Scarbnick, Kyle (Sara) Scarbnick, niece Kori (Aaron) Dehaan, grandnieces and grandnephews, Kole, Molly, Natalie, Cameron, Reese and Riley.

He is already missed by his German Shorthair Pointer canine pal “Jaeger”. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brother in law Mike Kirchner. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mount Clemens, Michigan.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be announced. Share memories with the family at www.
