Obituary of Eleanor Purcaro Eleanor P. Purcaro of Ponce Inlet, Florida, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. She was 94. Daughter of the late Chester Rogers and Elsie Spallholz Rogers, she was born on March 20, 1924 in New York, NY.

Eleanor was the widow of Harold F. Purcaro. She is survived by her sons, Robert Purcaro of East Stroudsburg, PA, Christopher Purcaro of Ponce Inlet, FL, Thomas Purcaro of Holbrook, NY, Richard Purcaro of Tobyhanna, PA, her daughter, Elizabeth Martinez of Ridgefield, CT, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Paul Purcaro.

Visitation will be held from 11 am – 1 pm on Friday, June 15, 2018 at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 pm on Friday at Eagle Valley Cemetery, Route 9W North, Highland Falls, NY. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
