OBITUARY Elfriede Lawrence March 21, 1932 – January 21, 2019 Augusta-Mrs. Elfriede Barbara Valentina Lawrence entered into rest on Monday, January 21, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Elliott Sons Funeral Home Chapel-Lumpkin Rd. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at the funeral home. Mrs. Lawrence was born in Germany, but has lived in Augusta for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.

She loved traveling, shopping and spending time with her family. Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her husband, First SGT. Neal Lawrence.

Survivors include her children, Barbara (Mell) Wall, Lester Lawrence, Linda (Ted) Malloy, Glenda (Tim) Collingsworth, and Steve (Kim) Keefer, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
