Mildred Harrison Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, January 19, 2019, Mrs. Mildred Hamby Harrison, 93, loving wife of 67 years to the late Robert E. Harrison. Mrs. Harrison was a native of Mountain Rest, SC and attended high school in Oconee County, SC and Tamassee, SC. She attended Anderson College for two years and graduated from Georgia Southern University.

She married Robert on Christmas Eve in 1949. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Curtis Baptist Church, Curtis Baptist Bible Study, and the Oleander Garden Club. She retired as an educator after 30 years mostly in Richmond County, lastly at Warren Road Elementary School.

Family members include her daughters: Angela Harrison-Ham, Janet Harrison Wilson and husband Glenn; son: Bobby Harrison; grandchildren: Kellie Renee Ham, Ashley R. Ham (Laura), and Robert Alan Wilson (Virginia); and great grandchildren: Ryan Ashley Ham, Sara Beth Ham, Ashley Grace Ham, Charlotte Claire Wilson, and Georgia Elizabeth Wilson. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Annette Harrison, parents, Zeke and Lucy Hamby, and sister, Ruth Hamby. A graveside service will be Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev.
