Obituary for Elga Louise Moss DeBoe Elga Louise Moss DeBoe, 80, of Eden, NC, died on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Brian Center in Eden, NC, after a decline in her health for the past few years. Mrs. DeBoe was born in Danville, VA, on July 10, 1937, she was a daughter of the late James Roy Moss and the late Mary Emma Gammon Moss. She lived most of her life in the Eden area where she worked as a caregiver.

She was very active in her community at the Brian Center. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was married to David Willis DeBoe, who predeceased her.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia D. Stone; a son, Gary Dean DeBoe, and wife Della Sue; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Matherly; one niece; and one nephew. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at the Gammon Family Cemetery with the Reverend Johnny Dyer officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the DeBoe family.
