Obituary for Elizabeth “Betty” Carol Brungardt Elizabeth “Betty” Carol Brungardt, 70, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. She was born March 5, 1948 in Garden City the daughter of Tony & Emma E. (Danler) Brungardt. Betty has been a lifetime resident of Garden City.

She attended St. Mary Catholic Grade School, Abe Hubert Jr. High School and graduated from Garden City High School. Betty worked for 26 years at Pizza Hut Delivery. She also worked as a babysitter for nieces, nephews, & friends and was a caregiver for her mother.

She enjoyed Coloring, Crossword Puzzles, playing Solitaire, and watching movies. Survivors include three brothers Ronald & wife Ruth Brungardt of Greeley, Colorado, Donald & wife Betty Ann Brungardt of Garden City, Kansas, and James & wife Debra Brungardt of Garden City, Kansas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers Marvin Brungardt and Leroy Brungardt; her Grandparents Jacob & Agatha Brungardt, and Alphonsus & Helena Danler; a sister-in-law Dorothy Brungardt; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; and 1 great-niece.

A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19 also at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Salas as Celebrant.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Garden City. Friends may call from Noon to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from Noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday all at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The family suggests memorials given to St. Mary School Endowment Fund in care of the funeral home.
