Obituary for Herber Rufino Henriquez Herber Rufino Henriquez, 50, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born March 2, 1968 in San Vicente, El Salvador the son of Jose Alejandro Pineda and Rita Henriquez. Herber grew up as a child in El Salvador.

He moved to the Los Angeles, California in 1986 and has been a resident of Garden City since 1999. Herber worked for more than 10 years at Tyson. He was first married to Ana Chavez.

He later married Inocencia Meza. Herber enjoyed music, dancing, Gardening, was very social with his many friends, and he loved grilling. He was a good father and very attentive with his children, and he was very proud of his granddaughter.

Survivors include six children Christian Harby Henriquez, Brenda Elizabeth Henriquez, Daisy Caroline Henriquez, Katie Diana Henriquez, Leslie Henriquez Meza, & Nestor Daniel Henriquez Meza; his father Jose Alejandro Pineda; four silblings Jose Antonio Henriquez, Alfonzo Henriquez, Elena Henriquez, & Victor Henriquez; and his Granddaughter Karina Isabel Cuevas. Herber is preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Pastor Mario Molina officiating.

A private family interment will take place at a later date in El Salvador. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Monday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
