Obituary for Kenton Doyle Thomas Kenton Doyle Thomas, 65, died November 14, 2018 at Ft. Worth, Texas after a short battle with cancer. He was born October 12, 1953 in Scott City, Kansas, the oldest of 4 boys to Kenneth Dale & Norma (Sperling) Thomas.

Kenton grew up in the Scott City, Kansas area before the family settled on the family farm in Finney County, Kansas in 1972. Kenton attended school at Scott City and later at Holcomb where he graduated from high school. Kenton earned a nursing license in 2002 and was employed as a Clinical Liaison for Encompass Health.

Survivors include a daughter Misty Harris of Colorado; a son Christopher (Amanda) Everett of Scott City, Kansas; 3 brothers Mike (Vicki) Thomas of Green Valley, Arizona, Rick Thomas of Garden City, and Kevin (Lynette) Thomas of Garden City; 5 grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews; and 9 great-nieces and nephews. Kenton is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Ian Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City with Rev.

Joel Plisek officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. There will be no calling hours.

The family requests memorials given to the Kenton Thomas Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
