Obituary for Alvin A.J. Doty Garden City- Alvin A.J. Doty, 81, died on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born on November 29, 1937 at Horrace the son of Arthur Alvin & Hattie Maragertha (Ruhs) Doty. He married Christine Ellen Mayo on December 6, 1980 at Garden City.

She died on July 19, 2018 Alvin grew up in Greeley County. He moved to Garden City to work on grain elevators and then became the owner operator of Al’s Barber Shop for many years. There will be a private graveside service in Greeley County Cemetery at Tribune.
