Obituary for Ruth Campos Ruth Campos, 74, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 at her home in Garden City. She was born July 26, 1944 in Garden City the daughter of Abraham & Antonia (Bonilla) Campos. Ruth has lived most of her life in Garden City.

She attended Garden City schools. As an adult, Ruth lived for a short time in Mexico. She worked for many years at Farmland Industries.

After moving back to Garden City from Mexico, she worked for El Perrico Charro. Ruth enjoyed playing Bingo and scratch lottery tickets, and she loved her dog “Locinda”. Survivors include a brother Jesse Ledesma of Garden City; 2 sisters Neva Gallardo and Rachel Lopez both of Garden City; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; a brother Ezequiel Ledesma; and 5 sisters Amelia Lopez, Sophia Garcia, Columba Ramirez, Gloria Hernandez, & Mary Medina. A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 also at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr.

Charles Seiwert as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. There will be no calling hours.
