Elizabeth’s Obituary Elizabeth H. “Betty” Abel died on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Juniper Village in Bensalem . She was 90. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Abel was a long time Lower Bucks resident formerly residing the Whitewood Section of Levittown and more recently in Bensalem.

Betty was in the dietary division of the former Eastern State School and Hospital for 13 years until her retirement. She will be remembered as dedicated wife and mother, especially to her son, Brian. Beloved wife of the late John Frederick Abel and loving mother of the late Stephen and Brian Abel, Betty is survived by her granddaughter Julie Abel and nieces and nephews, David, Jamie, Michael and Eileen Dumin.

Family and friends are invited to her Graveside Service at 12 noon on Wednesday at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd. , Bensalem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104 or the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
