Ella’s Obituary Mrs. Ella Mae Lee Fipps, age 96, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Lumberton Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 3, 1922, in Robeson County to the late Richard Lee and the late Emma Carter Lee. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marshall George Fipps; one son, Sammy Allen Fipps; three brothers: Venon Lee, Linwood Lee, and Raymond Lee; and two sisters, Ruth Britt and Sadie Stone.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Wayne Fipps of Knoxville, TN and Jimmy Marshall Fipps and wife Judi of Lumberton; five grandchildren: Allison Scott, Chuck Jernigan, Andrew Fipps, Julie Fipps Hernandez, and Jeffrey Fipps; twelve great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Naomi Conley and husband Cecil of Ft. Meyers, FL and Lanie Speights of Lumberton. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Jimmy Fipps.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. Britt Young officiating.
