Obituary for Ella Sue Robertson Ella Sue Robertson (Susie), 84, of Battle Creek, went home to be with The Lord Monday, January 14, 2019. Ella Sue was born in Harlan, KY on May 19, 1934 to John S. Bailey and Pearlie Mae (Ledford) Farmer. She married Lindy Palmer of Marshall in 1955 and had 4 children.

Susie is survived by her daughters, Terri (Bill) Koch, Judy (Howard) Phillips, and son, Tim (Penny) Palmer, all of Battle Creek. She is survived by grandchildren, Jamie(Shannon) Palmer, Brad Rose, Jeremy(Baca) Palmer, Leah(Gregg) Edgell, Holly(Aaron) Kirkham, Chad Palmer, Justin Palmer, Kody Palmer; and step-grandchildren, Monica Bivens, Heather Koch, Dan Koch and John Koch. She is also survived by sister Elsie Stanton, step daughter Debi Walters, very special friend Merle Boyer, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Susie was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Jerry Robertson, son Jackie Palmer, 4 brothers and 7 sisters. Susie, who was known by her family in Kentucky as Ellie, loved her large family, many friends, and above all her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She had many lifelong friends and was known for her love for others.
