Obituary for Elsie D. Rodriguez Seabrook – Elsie D. Rodriguez, 96, of southern NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at her daughter’s home. She was born in Havana, Cuba on September 14, 1922 the daughter of the late Eduardo and Pura (Lebron) Dilme. Elsie moved to Puerto Rico when she was 13.

She relocated to the states in 1987 and lived in Florida, greater Boston, and southern NH. Elsie was instrumental in church planting at various locations, along with her late son-in-law, Rev. Juan Vergara, and was most recently a part of the First Congregational Church of Barrington.

She was an avid Red Sox fan who enjoyed crossword puzzles, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. She was married to her late husband Castulo Rodriguez for 49 years. Surviving family members include her children, Edgardo Rodriguez of Minneapolis, MN and Elsie Vergara and her husband Kenneth Christiansen of Seabrook; grandchildren, Esther, Debbie, Chely, Arlene, Edgardo, Jeanny and Carlos and 19 great grandchildren In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Carlos Rodriguez, brother Eduardo Dilme and granddaughter Hilda Hobner.

Visiting hours are from 3 to 5 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, November 26, 2018 in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA.
