Obituary for Elsie Weaver (Grove) Elsie J. Weaver, 78, of Granville, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Sunday July 8, 2018 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. Born June 10, 1940 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis A. and Matilda J. (Kauffman) Grove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Warren Campbell, brothers Richard, Albert Grove, and Arthur Grove, sisters, Betty Brown, and Esther Peachey, and one great-grandchild, Matthew Grove.

Elsie will be remembered and missed by her loving children, Linda Kochenderfer and husband Emerson of Cross Keys, Deborah Pegher and husband Lawrence of Reedsville, Samuel Campbell and wife Denise of Granville, Tina Setzler, Toby Campbell, and Joseph Campbell all of Lewistown, siblings, Samuel Grove and wife Pauline of Granville, and William Grove and wife Dorothy of Strodes Mills, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elsie was a member of the Ferguson Valley Brethren in Christ Church. She loved to camp, read and play with her dog.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service in loving memory of Elsie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 12, 2018 at The Ferguson Valley Brethren in Christ Church, 8451 Ferguson Valley Rd, McVeytown, PA 17051 with Rev Kenneth Grove officiating. There will be a viewing held from 7-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at the Barr Funeral Home Inc and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.

Interment will take place in Pine Glen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Elsie’s memory are respectfully encouraged to The Ferguson Valley Brethren in Christ Church, 8451 Ferguson Valley Rd, McVeytown, PA 17051.
