Obituary for Susan Varner (Loht) Susan J. Varner, 73, of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday July 1, 2018 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. Born November 7, 1944 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Russell G. and Mary Alice (Elmer) Loht. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willard E. Varner III, daughter Amy L. Varner, and sister Patricia Barr.

Susan was a member of the United Church of Christ, and Fame Fire Company. All services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Susan’s memory are respectfully encouraged to Juniata Association for the Blind, 658 Valley St, Lewistown, PA 17044.
