Obituary for Elton Oliver Folkerts Folkerts, Elton age 84, passed away on January 3, 2019 at his home in Minnetonka. Elton was a graduate of Olivia High School, a US Army veteran and a 28-year employee at the Minnetonka Police Dept. He was preceded in death by daughter Dawn and his parents Otto Folkerts and Sylvia Folkerts Reynolds.

Survived by his wife Geneva of 60 years, son Mark (Despina Taratsas), brother Vernon (Janet) of Eau Claire, WI. A loving, devoted husband and father who will truly be missed by many family and friends. Funeral service 11 AM Saturday (1/12) at Timothy Lutheran Church, 7814 Minnetonka Blvd.

St. Louis Park. Visitation 5-8 PM Friday at Huber Funeral Home, 520 Second Street, Excelsior and one hour prior to service at CHURCH. Interment Groveland Cemetery, Minnetonka.
