Emma Jean Barnett, 86, of South Haven, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born May 5, 1932 to James and Sarah (Hanks) Burson in Alabama. Emma worked for Camsco Mushroom Company for over twenty years before retiring in 1994.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and quilting. She was a member of the Miracle Harvest Church in South Haven. She is preceded in death along with her parents by children – Chuck Barnett and Kathleen Lawson, and several brothers and sisters.

Emma is survived by her children – Annette (Jim) Kasishke of South Haven, Jack (Kathy) Barnett of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Janette (Brent) Leffel of Birch Run, and sister – Eula of California. 70 grandchildren also survive. Services may be scheduled at a later date.
