Marjorie Lucille Frost, 99, of South Bend, formerly of Benton Harbor and South Haven, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her home with her children by her side. She was born March 22, 1919 to Fritz and Lillie May (Baker) Buttleman in Montague, Michigan. Marjorie moved to Benton Harbor in 1951 with her husband John and four children.

She helped with her husband’s business, the Frost Funeral Home, for many years while working at VM Corporation. She was active in many organizations including Eastern Star, White Shrine, Girl Scouts, and the PTA. After moving to South Haven, Marjorie became an avid golfer and was active in the garden club.

Following the death of her husband, Marjorie moved to North Muskegon where she became a champion shuffle boarder. She lived a full life and will be greatly missed by her family. She is preceded in death along with her parents and husband by a great granddaughter.

Marjorie is survived by her children – Ralph (Ann) Frost of South Haven, Carol (Gary) Ward of Watervliet, Constance Harrold of South Bend, and Joanne McMuller of Crozet, Virginia. Eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren also survive. Private family services have taken place.
