James “Jim” Stephen Ellmer, 60, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan died Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the McBride Christian Adult Foster Care Home. Jim was born August 6, 1958 in South Haven to Irene (Samardak) and Stephen Ellmer.

Jim liked all types of cars especially the Chevy El Camino. He also enjoyed collecting key chains. He is survived by his parents – Stephen and Irene Ellmer of South Haven.

His sister – Lori Ellmer of Paw Paw. Niece – Mckenzie Ellmer of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and a nephew – Jacob Voss of Paw Paw. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Casco United Methodist Church. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor Don Graham officiating. Jim will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven.

Friends wishing to make a memorial contribution can do so to the Casco United Methodist Church or the Al Van Humane Society.
