Marion Celeste Farrell (neé Bennett) passed away peacefully October 10, 2018 in South Haven, Michigan at the age of 93. Her children Dan (Mary) Farrell, Kim Farrell, her brother Art Bennett, grandsons Earl (Billie Jo) Kohlhoff, Curt Farrell, and Jason Farrell and great grandson Brendan Farrell survive Marion. Her parents, Wilbur and Celeste Bennett, her brothers, Lorne and Erwin, her sister Bea (Bennett) Funk, and her daughter Ellen (Farrell) Kohlhoff, preceded her in death.

Marion was born on December 8, 1924 in South Haven, Michigan. She worked at the South Haven Rubber Company and Holly’s Restaurant. Over the years, she enjoyed travelling with her sister Bea, splitting wood for her fireplace, and playing Bingo regularly for miles around.

She had a keen eye for finding even the most elusive morel mushrooms every spring. Marion was a member of St. Basil’s Catholic Church of South Haven. Of all her accomplishments in life, most of all Marion will be remembered as a feisty, strong woman and a devoted single mother who lovingly raised three rambunctious children who always were her first priority.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
