Obituary for Emmanuel “Manny” Egipciaco Emmanuel “Manny” Egipciaco, 52, of Davenport, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born on December 22, 1965 in New York, New York to José R. Egipciaco and Nilka Hidalgo. Manny attended the State University of New York in New Paltz, NY, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
He moved to Davenport in 2003 from Lake Placid, Florida and he was employed by SunTrust, for 10 years, handling Investments Accounts. Manny was a gentle soul, kind, generous man, considerate, understanding and always looking for the best in others. He was a great son, father, brother and friend.
Manny was a family man and it was very important to him to see his family together. He enjoyed singing in the church choir, walking in the park and working out. Every so often, he would travel back to New York to reunite with his friends.
He liked to go to eat at Panera Bread and visiting all amusement parks. He enjoyed karaoke and golfing. Manny was a huge lifelong Yankee fan.
He was known as a kind, loving, friendly and forgiving man. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be truly missed. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nilka Hidalgo.
Manny is survived by his father, José R. Egipciaco; son, Emmanuel Egipciaco II of Davenport, FL; daughters, Isabella Egipciaco and Joelle Egipciaco both of Davenport, FL; brothers, José Egipciaco and wife, Judith of Davenport, FL, Anthony Egipciaco of New York City, NY and Joel Egipciaco and wife, Amanda of Fair Lawn, NJ; many nieces, nephews and devoted friends. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 noon, all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
