Obituary for Stephen Louis Makkay Stephen Louis Makkay of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at his home. He was 70 years old. A native of Bronx, New York, born December 27, 1947 to Steve and Mary Nagy Makkay, Stephen moved here in 1994 from New York.

He was a retired Computer System Administrator, and he was a Episcopalian. Stephen was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Makkay. He is survived by his sons: Stephen Makkay and Scott Makkay of New York, and Garrett Makkay of Winter Haven; his sisters: Yolanda Makkay Kuhn of North Carolina and Virginia Makkay Adams of New York.

Stephen also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM.
