Sonny was a loyal Yankees fan and up to the end, still knew what was going on with his team. Perry will be forever missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Phyllis (Sollitto) Pieranunzi; his daughter, Cara (Pieranunzi) Whitaker and husband Bruce L. Whitaker, Jr. and his three beautiful granddaughters that were the light of his life, Christina Whitaker, Stephanie Whitaker and Samantha Whitaker.
