OBITUARY Jennifer Marie Crosen November 29, 1982 – November 8, 2018 Jennifer Marie Crosen, 35, of Rocky Hill, beloved daughter of the late Patricia (Wyer) and Douglas Crosen, Sr., passed away peacefully on November 8, 2018. Jennifer was born on November 29, 1982 in Hartford. She was a 2001 graduate of Wethersfield High School where she proudly became the first woman to play on the WHS Men’s Hockey Team.

Jennifer also graduated from Johnson State College earning a degree in Liberal Arts. She was a talented artist, creative in many art forms including ceramics and oil painting. Jennifer also taught art classes where she was able to share her creative passion.

Jennifer leaves behind her sister, Carolyn Crosen, brother Douglas Crosen, stepmother Mary Crosen, her aunts and uncles, Janet Elwood, Pat Montanaro and Paul, Elizabeth Cormier and Steve, Ted Crosen and Linda, Carolyn Crosen and Erik, Terry and Brian Dehm, Kathy and Bill O’Keefe, Carol and Paul Fitzsimmons, her grandmother Denise Wyer along with her many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Poppy, Herb Wyer, grandmother Jackie Wyer, grandparents Eunice and George Crosen and her uncle Scott Crosen. She also leaves her beloved cat Apollo.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Parish (Sacred Heart Church) 56 Hartford Avenue, Wethersfield. Burial will be private. Memorial donations in Jennifer’s name may be made to CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
