OBITUARY Theresa Paoletta April 10, 1920 – October 30, 2018 Theresa (Blardo) Paoletta, 98, of Avon and formerly Simsbury, wife of the late Anthony Paoletta, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Born in Lowell, MA on April 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marie (Laprete) Blardo. Theresa worked for many years in the accounting department at Hartford Hospital.

Born to shop, Theresa would definitely be considered a gold medalist, she could spot a mall from anywhere on the road. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Theresa will be forever missed by her four devoted children, Anthony Paoletta and wife Lynne of Granby, Patricia Tarca of Simsbury, Geraldine Violette and husband Carroll of Spring Hill, FL and Trina Gilbar and husband David of New Hartford; five adored grandchildren and ten cherished great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Theresa was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Phillip Archambault and all five of her siblings, Nicholas Blardo, Peter Blardo, Catherine Blardo, Josephine Blardo, and Grace Reston. And a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Avon Health Care, especially her aide Khris. Calling hours are Tuesday, November 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd.
