OBITUARY Nina C. Hale November 3, 1928 – December 28, 2018 Nina C. (Frascarelli) Hale, 90, formerly of Rockville, passed away peacefully on Friday December 28, 2018 at the Southington Care Center. Nina was born in Hartford, on November 3, 1928, daughter of the late Emidio and Jennie (Martocchio) Frascarelli. She was an executive secretary at Celtic Life for many years until her retirement.

She was an avid volunteer at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Vernon and was active with the Vernon Senior Center. More than anything, Nina loved time spent with her family and her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nina is survived by her two sons, John Hale of Avon and Bill Hale of Willington; five grandchildren, Eric Hale and his wife Jennifer of Somers, Andrea Hale-Moutinho and her husband Antonio of Cheshire; a daughter-in-law, Susan Hale of Manchester as well as her other grandchildren, Jimmy, Jen and her husband Brian and Michael.

She also leaves her six great grandchildren Lyndsey, Nina, Tyler, Mason, Taylor and Christopher; a sister-in-law, Mary Frascarelli of Glastonbury; a dear cousin, Joan Ierna of Wethersfield and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Anthony Frascarelli. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Southington Care Center for their exceptional care.

A funeral service will take place at 10am on Thursday, January 3rd at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. , Wethersfield. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
