OBITUARY Cynthia (Scalia) Griffith May 24, 1951 – October 28, 2018 Cynthia Griffith, 67, of Wethersfield, passed away on October 28, 2018. Cynthia was born in Hartford on May 24, 1951, to Dominic Scalia and the late Mary (Camilleri) Scalia. After receiving her MBA from the University of Connecticut, Cynthia’s life and career took her all across the country.

Whether living in Indiana, New York, Los Angeles or Connecticut, Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her family and tending to her gardens. Her Wheaton Terriers, Haley and Cinna, held a very important place in her heart. Besides her father, she is survived by her sister Patricia Barrett of Wethersfield; her two nephews, Gerald Barrett and wife Nicole of Wethersfield, and Braden Barrett of West Hartford; her great nephew Graham Barrett and many caring friends, cousins, and relatives.

Relatives and friends may gather to pay their respects on Monday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a celebration of her life at 11:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. , Wethersfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cynthia may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd.
