OBITUARY Ernesto Ambert Rodriguez August 22, 1923 – September 29, 2018 Ernesto Ambert-Rodriguez, 95 resident of Lexington, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, SC. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Ernesto was born on August 22, 1923 in Ciales, Puerto Rico. Son of late Juan Ambert-Pagan and Baudilia Rodriguez. A businessman entrepreneur, he was a well knowned and respected restaurateur in Ponce Puerto Rico where he owned 5 restaurants, a supermarket and a country style hotel and ranch resort in Guayama, PR.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carmen D. Gaud-Ambert. Survivors include his children Ernesto Ambert-Gaud and wife Hilda, Luis Ambert-Gaud and wife Norma, Carmen M Ambert-Diaz and husband Jose Diaz, and Antonia Ambert-Rivera and husband Gene Rivera, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
