Mrs. Estelle Hall Linton, 93, wife of the late Nathaniel Nacey Linton and a native of Sanford, VA, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at Heritage Hall Nursing Center, in Nassawadox, VA. Born March 24, 1925 in Sanford, she was the daughter of the late Bernard K. Hall, Sr. and Nellie Mildred Hall. Estelle worked for the former R&G Shirt Factory, in Parksley, VA, and later worked at the Saxis Crab Shack.

Always dressed to impress, Estelle loved getting dolled up and looked forward to going out on the town, or as she would say, “Going off”. With her infamous smile and loving nature, Estelle enjoyed entertaining and loved having visitors. She will be greatly missed, but will be forever remembered by loved ones.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Linton of Sanford; two granddaughters, Sandy Turner and husband Phil of Salisbury, MD, and Lisa Hillary of Oak Hall, VA; three great-granddaughters, Crystal Hillary, Sara Straw, and Danielle Nicole Turner; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a brother, Bernard K. Hall, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at the John W. Taylor Cemetery, in Temperanceville, VA, on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Wayne Hart officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heritage Hall Activity Fund, P.O. Box 176, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
