Esthela’s Obituary Esthela Luz Rothe Baylon, 83 of Chihuahua Mexico passed away on Wednesday January 23rd in Las Cruces New Mexico. Esthela was born in Chihuahua Chihuahua Mexico to Isaac Baylon and Herlinda Acosta on October 6th 1935. She married Peter C Rothe on August 30th 1961 in Las Cruces New Mexico.

She worked as an executive assistant for several different companies amongst them Lufthansa Airlines. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to travel throughout the world.

She lived in several different countries, Mexico, Germany and for the last 35 years in different cities in the United States. She spoke 4 different languages, Spanish, English, German and French. Esthela enjoyed trying different things, she loved to work on crossword puzzles.

She enjoyed reading and writing but mostly she enjoyed being around friends and family. She is survived by Peter her husband of 57 years. Her daughter Claudia and her son in law Juergen of Cologne, Germany.

Her Son Tarek and her daughter in law Nancy of Litchfield New Hampshire. Her Grandson David and her granddaughter Jacqueline. Also by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, January 31st from 4pm to 5pm at the chapel in the La Paz – Funeral home located at 555 West Amador, Las Cruces NM.
