Obituary for Eugene Poore Vernon Eugene Poore, 73, passed away October 21, 2018. A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late James Harvey Poore and Francis Leona Gosnell. Surviving are his wife, Linda Gosnell Poore of the home; two daughters, Tammy P. Mason of Landrum and Mandy P. Pruett (Tommy) of Rutherfordton, North Carolina; a son, Randy Poore (Christy) of Landrum; three brothers, Charles Poore (Ruth), Donnie Poore (Debbie) and Dewayne Poore; three sisters, Sylvia Gilliard, Saundera Perdue and Renee Poore; seven grandchildren, Kenzie Quinn, Kayla Mason, Jordan Brown, Halie Poore, Jacob Poore, BrookLynn Pruett and Matthew Pruett; sister-in-law, Libby Poree; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Poore was predeceased by one brother, Jim Poree. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Highland Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Tim McConnell and Rev.

Terry Poore. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.
