Eugene Tillman, age 76, gave up time for Eternity, Friday, February 28, 2019. “Gene” as he was affectionately known was born November 16,1942 in Abbeville County, South Carolina. He was the son of Louise Tillman.

Gene attended the Abbeville County public schools and was employed with Collins & Aikman, Albemarle, North Carolina for many years. He was a devoted and faithful member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Badin, North Carolina where he was a member of the Usher Board and a former member of the Pastor’s Aide Auxiliary.

Gene always greeted his fellowman with a smile and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Those who will remember Gene fondly: his mother, Louise Tillman, Washington, DC; Toby Tillman, Atlanta, Georgia; special friend, Lydia Little, New London, North Carolina; aunt, Fannie Carson, Anterville, South Carolina; special cousin, Charlie Tillman, Calhoun Falls, South Carolina; a host of relatives and numerous good friends.
