Obituary for Mrs. Eula Cecile Bell Shead Wilson Eula Cecile Bell Shead Wilson, 82, wife of the late John “Bud” Dalton Wilson, Jr., of 511 Burnt Tanyard Road, West Union passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A native of Walhalla, SC, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Charlie and Emma Hall Shead. She was a homemaker and a member of North Walhalla Church of God.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughters: Mary W. Free (Brad) of West Union, SC, Shay W. Wood of West Union, SC, Susan W. Parker (Butch) of Rock Hill, SC and Debra W. Jones (Randy) of Tamassee, SC; eight grandchildren: Bradley and Matthew Jones, Jason and Jeff Hawkins, Tonya Massey, Jon Wood, Crystal Rogers and Andy Wilson; twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her son: Johnny Michael Wilson; brothers: Jay Shead, Marvin Shead and Bernice Shead; sisters: Rosa Jefferson, Eunice Winkler, Lola Bagwell, Frances Spurlock, Maude Neal and Glenda Popham; and son in law: Daryl Wood. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 2, 2018, at North Walhalla Church of God with entombment to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6:00–8:00 PM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is gathered at the home of Brad and Mary Free: 849 Armada Way, West Union, SC 29696.
