Eunice Albers nee Riechers 82, of Beecher, IL passed away August 16, 2018 at her home. Eunice was born on August 19, 1935 in Washington Township, IL, the daughter of William and Dora Riechers nee Guritz. She is survived by her loving husband Leon whom she married on June 14, 1953.

Also surviving are her children William (Kimberly) Albers of Grant Park, IL and Betty (Ed) Fortin of Momence, IL. She is also survived by a step sister Florence. Two grandchildren Margaret and Hayden also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Loriena, brothers Norman, Lester and Wendell and a step brother Myron. Eunice was baptized on September 15, 1935 at St, Paul Lutheran Church in Beecher. She was confirmed on April 10, 1949 at St. Paul Lutheran Church Petersburg.

She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Momence, IL and enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday August 19, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Hack Funeral Home in Beecher. Funeral services will be conducted Monday August 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. also at Hack Funeral Home.

Rev. Cory Estby will officiate. Private family burial will be at Momence Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
