Evelyn’s Obituary Evelyn Catherine Anderson, age 94, of North Mankato, died Friday, March 8, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Hopkins. Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2019 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation with light refreshments will be held from 2-4 p.m. at Northview.

Interment will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Memorials may be directed to Park Nicollet Methodist Hospice and mailed to Park Nicollet Foundation, 6500 Excelsior Boulevard, St. Louis Park, MN 55426. Please share a memory of Evelyn with her family at www.

mankatomortuary.com. Evelyn was born August 31, 1924 to Leo and Louise (Galler) Weber in Madison Lake, MN. She was united in marriage to Howard J. Anderson on August 2, 1945 in Great Falls, Montana.

Evelyn worked as a school cook for District 77 for over 20 years until retiring in June 1982. She and Howard were members of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato. She enjoyed golfing, spending time in the summer at their lake home on Cross Lake, visiting the casino, and reading.

Above all, Evelyn loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. Evelyn is survived by her son, Jim (Connie) Anderson of North Mankato; daughter, Carol Anderson of Hopkins; grandsons, Nick (Amanda Voight) Anderson of Falls Church, VA and Ben (Natasha Husain) Anderson of Eden Prairie; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; son, Jerry Anderson; sisters, Dolores McCarthy and Mildred Anderson; and brothers, Ernie Weber and Clete Weber.
