Kent’s Obituary Kent Alan Spotts was born on August 31, 1960 in Mankato, Minnesota to Kenneth and Alice Spotts. On April 30, 2019, Kent passed away peacefully in Katy, Texas at the age of 58 after a courageous battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held on June 1, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.

Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 p.m. prior to the service at Northview. Kent married his friend and love of his life, Kathy Li, on March 7, 2000 and had two beautiful daughters, Aimee and Ashlee. His world revolved around his family.

They enjoyed numerous mini vacations, including going to the beach. He also enjoyed playing tennis with Aimee and basketball with Ashlee. When he wasn’t spending time with family, you could find Kent cheering on his two favorite teams, the Minnesota Vikings and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Kent also perfected his woodworking skills by building the family’s backyard furniture. Kent was a man of integrity, with a great sense of humor and a laugh that was extremely contagious. Christmas time was filled with family board games and lots of laughs and food.

His kind heartedness and fun-loving nature will be greatly missed. Kent is survived by his wife; Kathy; daughters, Aimee and Ashlee; father, Kenneth; sister, Kelli Thielges (Alan); their children, Tyler and Alissa; sister in law, Cindy Li-Ravinder (Navin Ravinder); their children, Kaia, Avaia, and Caris; sister in law, Tina Li (Patrick Lo); their children, Raidyn and Logan; brother in law, Sunny Li (Aileen Velasquez-Li); their children, Sadie and Koen; and mother in law, Betty Li. Kent is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Spotts, and father in law, Tung Sang Li.
