Evelyn Joyce Spicer Jackson, 75, of Atlantic, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by her family. Born November 13, 1943, in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Clifford William (Bill) and Phyllis Rawson Spicer. She married Richard Allen Jackson on November 26, 1966 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania.

She graduated from Gateway High School in Monroeville and Duff’s Business School in Pittsburgh. Evelyn was a loving and devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Jackson; her mother, Phyllis Spicer; a son, Douglas Jackson and his wife, Hannah; a daughter, Kimberly Adsit and her husband, Christopher; two grandchildren, Aaron and Hannah; a brother, Philip Spicer and his wife, Marsha, a sister, Elaine Peverill; one niece and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd.
