Evelyn Kay Taylor, 60 of Scottsburg, IN passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. Mrs. Taylor was born on August 2, 1957 in Seymour, IN the daughter of Homer and Georgina Messimore Barrett. During working career she worked in the Health Industry as a License Practical Nurse and was a member of Calvary Temple in Austin, IN.

Survivors include her husband, George Taylor; son, George A. Taylor(Crystal) of Knox, IN; daughter, Angela Wilkerson(Mark) of Crothersville, IN; brothers, Gerald Barrett and Terry Barrett of Austin, IN; sisters, Brenda Morris, Connie McNew of Austin, IN and Diane Holland of Seymour, IN; grandchildren, Kaylor and Aaron Taylor; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jack and Vincent. Cremation was chosen with no services at this time. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is handling the arrangements.
