Obituary Evelyn McNeese, age 90, of Cohutta, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd McNeese; parents, Loyd and Flora Gordy; sister, Joyce; brother, Sonny. She is survived by 5 daughters and sons-in-law, Myrtle McNeese of Cohutta, Janette and Fred Greater of Dawnsonville, Judy Petty, Sue and Gerald Stevens, Darlene and Brent Beck, all of Cohutta; two sons, Wayne McNeese and William McNeese, both of Cohutta; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Lee’s Chapel with Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. The family will receive friends at Lee’s Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery.
