Franceline Cecelia Bordenave, entered the heavenly gates at the age of 102 on January 6. She was a caring, kind, and sincere woman, who prayed constantly for all those who were blessed to ever meet her. She was born April 21, 1916 to the late Alice Moll and Fernand Dinvaut Sr

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Lester Louis Bordenave and her first born; Lester Bordenave Jr She is survived by her children Tyrone Bordenave, Leslie Larks, Edna Bordenave, Denise Bordenave-Felton(Eski); grandchildren, Heather Boggess (Mandre), Kimberly Jackson (Keith), Stacy Bordenave, Christopher Bordenave; great-grandchildren, Mandre Boggess Jr, Hayden Boggess, and Brice Jackson She was preceded in death by her siblings Newton Dinvaut, Pearl Becnel, Alice Banderas, Fernand Dinvaut Jr., Eleanora Biagas, Rupert Dinvaut Sr., Ruth Duronslet, Joseph Dinvaut, Marguerite D’Arensbourg, Theresa Hicklin, and Gloria Allain. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lelia Dinvaut, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends who will all deeply miss her and her smile.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to her Homegoing Mass Celebration at Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St Phillip St on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10am. Visitation will begin at 9am. Internment: St. Mary Cemetery in Algiers 500 De Armas St. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to D.W. Rhodes Funeral Homes, New Orleans, LA.
