Farris’ Obituary Farris Roger Turnbo, 73, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at his residence. He was born on May 25, 1945, in Bath Springs, TN, to the late William Farris Turnbo and the late Mary Anna Hoskins Turnbo. Farris was a general contractor for Turnbo Construction and was a member of Cottonwood Grove Baptist Church.

He also served his country in the United States Army. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Mackie Prince officiating.

Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Dianne Turnbo of Ridgely; a son, Greg Turnbo (Mick Maness) of Jackson; two sisters, Jean Bargery and Wanda Wood, both of Ridgely; three grandchildren, Seth Turnbo (Erica), Zac Metoyer (Ashleigh) and Amanda Sturdivant (Ben); and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Turnbo. Pallbearers will be Zac Metoyer, Chris Rainey, Kevin Younger, Brian Bargery, Joel Bargery and Mike Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Bargery, Trey Wood, Ben Sturdivant and Ernie Morris.
