Faye Counts Martin, 73, of Christiansburg woke up in the arms of Jesus on February 26, 2019. She was a member of the First Church of God of Christiansburg. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Kenley and Opal Welch, and daughter, Rita Counts Makhoul.

She is survived by her husband, Don ‘Mongo’ Martin; children, Rhonda Mah and husband, Albert, Robin Brooks and husband, Dale, Randy Counts and wife Niese, and Dottie Martin; son-in-law, John Makhoul; grandchildren, Amanda, CJ, Andrew, Stephen, Austin, Kristen, Helen, Donny, and Spencer; great grandchildren, Brennan, Kynlee, Rylee, Lincoln and River. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lance Jenkins officiating.
